Catalogue Launch

At my launch on the weekend, we made these two cards and a long pillow box.

As a thank you to the ladies who attended, they each got to take home a little thank you gift of a photo holder and a fridge magnet (this was what was left. Note to self, take a photo before not after)

I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Sure looks like Zoe had a good time too....

Triple Treat Tuesday #1

Here are three variations of the same card, showing different results you can achieve depending on your level of ability and availability of products.

Card 1 shows a clean and simple card. Card 2 has some paper piercing, glitter and ribbon added. Card 3 has clear embossing, punches, a brad and more ribbon added.

I really like this idea. I have seen a few of them around and thought I could do that. So each month I'll create 3 cards just like I have here. Who knows, it may inspire you to add something extra to your cards.

Card Recipe
Stamp Sets: Dasher, Seasons of Joy
Card Stock: Real Red, Whisper White
Inks: Real Red, Versa Mark
Punches: Wide Oval, Large Oval
Other: Sticky Strip, Dazzling Diamonds, Mat Pack, Dimensionals, Brad, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Real Red Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (retired)

New Catalogue Goodies

Well, what a wonderful day yesterday was. After waiting a torturous week, my order of goodies from the new catalogue arrived - and I wasn't disappointed!

Just look at all the lovely card stock! I ordered a pack of each of the colour families and the new In Colours as well as the Classic Stamp pads in the In Colours. I figured I'd work out witch ones I loved then I'll order the packs and inks.

I also ordered some dies for the Big Shot - Flower Fusion and Timeless Type Alphabet, the new Colour Coach, stamp sets - both clear and block mounted, punches, Dazzling Diamonds and the DSP paper Pack in In Colours.

Check back later to see some of the cards I create with my new toys.

Cheers,
Donna
