Clean & Simple Sketch Challenge #231

It's been ages since I have taken part in a sketch challenge.  As soon as I saw this one from the Clean & Simple team, I had an idea pop straight into my head. I'm really happy with how it turned out.  What do you think?

Here's the sketch and my card.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I haven't seen my dad since before his birthday, so he hasn't seen his card yet, (until now that is). I could have posted it to him, but I couldn't post his pressie, so they are both waiting until I next see him.

A simple but effective design.  The card, not my dad.  He's the best design!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Cheers,

Holiday Get Together

These are the pics of cards made from our Christmas school holiday get together.  I can't remember who's card was who's (maybe I should post more often???) So if one is yours please let me know so I can give you credit.

Here's my card design;

These are the other cards I was lucky enough to make.

Thanks to Anita who hosted the day at her tranquil and beautiful home at Thirlmere.  Although it was an hour away, it was just the most wonderful day.  We were all very envious of her craft room.

Thanks for another lovely day ladies.

Cheers,
    Donna

Happy Birthday Thomas!

Our nephew is in the midst of a serious Spiderman faze.   So having scoured Pintrest for my inspiration, this is the card I created him.

I was told my my SIL that it was a huge hit.

Happy Birthday Tommy!

Cheers,

Christmas Craziness

Right-O.  Here are some photos of Christmas cards made, received, tags and little gifts.

These are a few of the cards I made this year. I used the bauble dies from the ???? and the ???? DSP stack.  Quick, simple but effective cards.

Here are some of the lovely cards I received;

I had my little elf's help me with the gift tags, so there wasn't a lot of technique used in their creation.  I used the cut out ornaments from the Christmas cards, and got out the green and red bingo markers and let the elves go to town.  Once they had finished, I added a little sparkle to them with some silver embossing powder.

I was also kept busy with treat toppers for M&M bags for the girls friends.

Talk about crazy times. Hope your Christmas was filled with joy and laughter of your loved ones.

Cheers,
   Donna

Family Birthdays

In our household, our birthdays are all within a matter of weeks.  It dawned on me as I was taking down the birthday cards to make room for the soon to arrive Christmas cards, that I haven't posted pics of the cards I made for my lovelies.  So here they are;

for Emily

for Robert

for Zoe

for me from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Joyce
