Happy Birthday Nichol!

It's my friend Nichol's birthday today and this is the card I made her. Whilst it looks very similar to the one we'll be making at my class next week, I did in fact create this card first, and it has inspired a few other creations lately. I originally made the card for this Clean & Simple sketch challenge, but I didn't get it posted in time. Lucky, because then it wouldn't be a surprise for Nic!

April Card Class

Happy Anniversary

Last week, Robert & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. This is the card I made him. Not too girly or lovey dovey - except for the message inside :) We had l lovely dinner out at our favourite restaurant whilst my MIL looked after the girls.

The third birthday party Em attended for a school friend was for Jeremy. Amongst other store bought gifts, I also created this crayon box holder and a matching sketch book. Welcome to the Neighbourhood

Friends of my MIL moved in a few streets away recently, so I made them this card to welcome them. Though the stamp set is an oldie, it's a favourite of mine. Oh, and I added crystal effects to the windows and made the house in the middle pop, I masked the outer houses and used Shimmer Paint - a new love of mine. Wedding Congratultions

The niece of a friend was married recently, and I was asked to make a card. The bridesmaids were wearing purple so that and white were the colours I was going to use. Though it can't be seen to well, the card has clear embossing on it, as well as a bit of "bling". I thought it would be a nice touch to personalise the card with the initials of the bride and groom. New Years Resolution - FAIL!!

I knew it wouldn't take long! I must believe in myself more... Oh that can be next years resolution. I really though that with Emily at school and Zoe at day care (2 days), that I'd have more time to create and blog. BUT NO!!! I'll try to do better from now on.
